The first phase of Poundbury is a bit lower density than other parts of Poundbury, and you will notice that most by the rise in number of apartments in three and four storey buildings as you get closer to the main centre at Queen Mother Square.
You will also find Poundbury Village has more Cottage style houses, with some built of local stone.
