I will be making a few design changes to the Poundbury website over the next month.
I would like to get more people on Poundbury involved in contributing pieces to the website.
If you think you would like to write some bits about Poundbury, news, reviews, stories, whatever! ;D

We can't guarantee that every piece submitted will be added to the website.

I've just this half-half hour joined soley to express my joy in discovering the community of Poundbury via an interview with Prince Charles last evening on CBS-TV's "60 Minutes." I am an American and live in the state of Delaware where a first-time attempt is being made to create a planned community. I can only hope it captures even a small amount of the charm and forethought of your community. I want to know more about Poundbury. I must admit, I don't know how to use this forum properly to reach people, so I chose your post for a reply hoping someone notices and tells me how to use it properly. I want to be able to tell those who designed, planned and built Poundbury how wonderful it is to see that someone is thinking about long-term live-ability and has a serious interest in a community that is beautiful. My name is Joyce Mullins and I am a retired journalist. I tried to find a way to respond to the query on the Poundbury website about news/media coverage, but since I am not a resident, I could not find a path to do that. Not all of the press is bad if you were to have seen the extremely respected and popular program "60 Minutes."

Website News
Due to the Charles & Camilla tour of America this week the Poundbury website has been very very busy.
We had over 12,500 hits last week.
And now we have just had over 9,000 hits in just one day!
This did cause a few problems yesterday as the "What The Papers Say" pages were not working for a few hours as the website could just not cope.

What a Great site!!!
I saw the CBS Special as well ... Wonderful, this seems like such a nice place to live. I am interested in more information. I am like Joyce not acclimated to the use of this site as of yet.
