Hi,
What's the system for houses receiving TV signals around here? There's no obvious aerials and I'd guess the cable entering the house in the understairs cupboard is piped throughout Poundbury?
Over the last few days, BBC 2 and Channel 4's signal has been very poor. It was like this a few weeks ago too. Anyone know what's going on or is it only me suffering?
Thanks,
Nils.

Hello Nils, Poundbury is split up into groups of around 100 houses and each group is cabled up to one aerial placed on a high building. Early on in Poundbury we had some trouble with the number of houses for each aerial being to high, so more were added, and cables upgraded. It could be thats its the aerial just for your particular area playing up? try asking your neighbors to see if they have had any trouble. I think it would then be a matter of talking to the Manco Chairman for your part of Poundbury - Peter Noble For phase 2, or Peter Bryant for Phase 1. Hope thats of help

I look forward to seeing one appear on the Round House! :-)

OK. The effect is a ghosting of french programs, or distortion of the picture into slanting diagonal chunks. I initially put it down to weather conditions but it seems too common now. (I don't mind the french programs so much; trying to fathom what program it is from the bits of text that appear is a welcome diversion from the scheduled tripe.) The TV keeps cutting off the sound for a few seconds as the signal's too corrupt.

Have Googled for Manco and now understand a little better how things work around here.
Thanks,
Nils.
